Women@dior
The deadline for Dior’s international leadership and educational programme, Women@dior, closed on Sunday 14 February, meaning a new cluster of driven, entrepreneurial-minded young women are about to be guided by the fashion house’s mentors. The initiative, which launched in 2017, has helped over 1,000 mentees, who are students at the maison’s partnering institutions. And those selected are assessed by talent, ambition and generosity. The programme centres on self-development and self-confidence, while building a community spirit.
“My experience as a mentee for Women@Dior provided me with the opportunity to meet other ambitious and empowering women. I also greatly enjoyed the multimodal learning approach implemented by Dior, from the Dream for Change group project to the online workshops and assessments.” – Mehreen Diwan, LinkedIn profile here.
Future Luxe: What’s Ahead for the Business of Luxury
Erwan Rambourg, who’s held leadership roles at LVMH brands, as well as Cartier and HSBC, interviews CEOs from some of the biggest organisations for his new book, Future Luxe. It reveals how today’s generation are redefining luxury, and explores Chinese consumption, women’s spending power, diversity and responsible production.

Fashion Revolution Week
Marking eight years since the disastrous Rana Plaza factory collapse on 24 April 2013, which killed 1,138 people and injured 2,500, Fashion Revolution Week is almost here. The campaign, founded by Carry Somers and Orsola de Castro, recognises the voices of the fashion supply chain and champions a creative, innovative community. The Edit Her team will be sharing their condolences while celebrating the lives of the mostly young women, who were taken too soon.
Oxford Women’s Leadership Development Programme
The women’s leadership and development programme at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School, is a six-week online course starting 17 March. Designed in partnership with learning provider GetSmarter, it harnesses women’s self-confidence and development.
